We offer boarding at Country Road Rabbit Rescue for rabbits & guinea pigs! We know it’s hard to leave your pet(s) when you take a trip and we are excited to love on them in your absence!

Our Rates:
Single Rabbit $20/Day
2 Rabbits $30/Day
Single or 2 Guinea Pigs $10/Day
Each Additional Guinea Pig - Add $5/Day
What is included when you board with us?
● An appropriate sized pen with linens & litter box (rabbits), cleaned regularly ● Daily pellets (We feed Oxbow Adult Rabbit & Oxbow Adult Guinea Pig Pellets) ● Daily dinner salad ● Unlimited hay (a mix of orchard grass & timothy hay) ● Unlimited water (we supply necessary dishes) ● A daily photo & update sent to an email provided ● Daily interaction (determined by what the animal(s) tolerates)
What do you need to provide?
● Your pet(s) ● A crate/carrier (we ask you leave it with us during their stay in case of emergency) ● Any personal items your pet(s) would like to bring with ● Feel free to bring different pellets if that is what your pet(s) is used to (doesn’t change the per day price) ● Any medication necessary, including instructions ● Submit a completed & signed boarding contract (Link is above)
Boarding Policies
● We request 50% of payment at time of drop off. This can be cash, check, Paypal or cards via our website. The remaining 50% will be due at pickup, with any of these same payment methods.

● Boarding payment is a donation to our nonprofit & allows us to continue rescuing & rehabbing rabbits! It is unfortunately not tax deductible because it is for a service we are providing ● We allow cancellation for any reason without penalty! Please email us before time of drop off. ● We are run out of a private residence & request respect while on our property, in our home & rescue. ● Abandonment Clause: If your pet is not picked up after 15 calendar days past their scheduled departure, they will be deemed “abandoned” in accordance with Washington Civil Code 16.54.010 and 16.54.020 and will legally be in the custody of Country Road Rabbit Rescue. ● We do everything in our power to keep all animals happy, healthy & thriving in our care. If a medical emergency or illness happens, we will contact you at the email & phone number provided as well as your emergency contact. If we don’t receive instructions, we will seek medical care at the veterinarian provided on this form. All costs will be your responsibility. ● We don’t provide transportation for pick ups or drop offs & require scheduled times to complete both of those things. ● We like to share photos of our boarders on vacation on our social media; by signing our boarding contract you are consenting to allowing their photos being used. We won’t include your name for privacy purposes.

You Enjoy Your Vacation, While They Enjoy Theirs!
We have limited space & suggest you get your request in as soon as you know your dates. We will do our best to accommodate all boarding requests. While boarding with us, your furry family members will enjoy daily enrichment including toys, free roam time, pets & cuddles. Of course, if they prefer alone time they will have a quiet, safe place to nap or lounge in. Every boarding pen is set up based on their individual needs such as space, privacy or special needs. We disinfect all pens, linens, litterboxes, dishes & toys between boarders. Anything that can’t be disinfected gets thrown away or recycled to avoid the spread of germs. We request that all boarding rabbits get vaccinated for RHDV2 annually; however as a special needs rescue we understand not everybun can receive that vaccine; please let us know if your animal is immuno-compromised & we will accommodate by keeping a barrier from other bunnies here. We specialize in special needs rabbits therefore, we have plenty of special needs supplies including crib bumpers, low entry litterboxes, beds & cushions. If your animals need daily medication, there is no extra fee. We will simply add them to the medication whiteboard & make sure they receive exactly what they need at the time they need it. Every animal we meet is special to us & they will be treated as a part of our family while they are here!
